Je suis une artiste interdisciplinaire basée à Montréal qui travaille à la création d'une langue hybride combinant la performance, la danse, le théâtre et la vidéo. Avec une fascination pour la façon dont le mouvement peut éclairer les idées, je suis inspirée par comment le corps peut exposer et interpréter l'indicible. Je suis d'une génération pour qui chaque mouvement fait partie de la sphère publique et pour qui chaque anxiété ou insécurité se trouve dans le domaine public; avec cela à l'esprit, je tiens à exprimer le très personnel dans le contexte de l'observé.
I am an interdisciplinary artist based in Montreal working to create a hybridlanguage of performance, dance, theatre and video. With a fascination for how movement can illuminate ideas, I am inspired by what the body can expose and interpret that which is unspeakable. I am part of a generation whose every move is part of a public sphere. Every anxiety or insecurity lies within the public domain. With this in mind, I aim to express the very personal within the context of the watched. My recent projects are driven by a search for a clearer image of the self by way of exploring physical and emotional states.
